DS is 4. He has had a cough for the last 2 weeks on and off. We all have. I have had one of the tickly variety - have a coughing fit then it passes for a few days.

DS is well and fine in himself but this morning woke me with a barking cough. I gave him a drink and something to eat and whilst he didn't cough as much, it was still barky.

I tried to get through to our GP at 7.30 and by 7.45 and LOTS of redials I gave up.

He seems ok in himself and I doubt the dr will do anything anyway.

Would you try and get him seen? Or leave it?

Croup?

Tbh after the first time I just treated at home. It would be a hospital job anyway, I don't think GP surgerys have nebulisers.

Mega steamy bathroom for half an hour does the job usually.

I'm thinking exactly the same gamer I seem to recall he had it as a baby too but again, nothing special treatment wise.

Will give he steamy bathroom a try.
