because of the prices. £7.99 for a double layered ankle length silk skirt which was fair enough. £18.99 for a sleeveless knee length M and S polyester dress with lace trim. Am I just behind the times or is this the going rate?

I wouldn't pay those prices. A cold wash with shampoo?

I wouldn't even pay that for the actual skirt.

I wouldn't drive clean polyester. If it says dry clean, I wash it on delicate with Woolite.
