Completely different advent calendars

DC close in age. One has been given a Lego advent calendar for birthday.

Previous years, both have had similar (Lego Star Wars, Lego/Brio) type calendars.

WIBTotallyU to get a chocolate calendar for DC who hasn't just had birthday? Or for the sake of "fairness" and peace in the mornings should I find something similar for DC2?

We have so much Lego and I'm not sure the calendars are really any different to the previous couple of years.

Get the both a chocolate calendar? LEGO one was a birthday present.

I would be tempted to let the LEGO one be opened completely and played with, as a birthday present.

Get both a chocolate calendar, to open daily!

Vote chocolate calendar for both. DC1 will miss out if he has a birthday present 'instead' of an advent calendar. He gets both because one was a birthday gift.

I would be tempted to let the LEGO one be opened completely and played with I'm not sure DS would go with that one. He's a bit a stickler for the rules!

It seems like a really dragged out birthday present Grin however, if he wants to open it daily, fair enough. Tough on the other dc though, usually birthday present jealousy is over and done with in a day!

It’s Chriistmas, sod it! Get them both a chocolate and Lego calendar!

One year my ds saved up and bought himself a Lego advent calendar. I still bought him a chocolate one too, like his sister. He just had two to open instead.

The Lego one was a gift. He just gets two. Get them both a chocolate one.

Mine share an advent calendar ... always have. One of them has on several occasions been given a lego advent calendar by his godmother as a Xmas present. He opens it each day and they all take turns with the chocolate one. Never an issue. I think the equivalent in your situation is a chocolate one each. (Am I the only person who makes their kids share a calendar?)

Mine shared a breakfast cereal one last year. Alternate days.

Oh yes, I freely admit it is purely so I avoid having to deal with the birthday present jealousy for another month.
