To wonder why a massive line of cars/lorries is going past my house, tooting their horns the whole way?

Any idea? Confused I'm stumped! Is it some kind of procession?

Some sort of protest against something? Google your area or look on Twitter maybe. There's bound to be others asking.

Of course as soon as I post that the line comes to an end Blush

I was looking at the lorries/cars but didn't notice anything particularly festive about them so no idea!

Well yes it is some sort or procession. I have seen similar for either funerals (normally where the deceased was a lorry driver, motorcyclist etc) or in Turkey I know they do similar for weddings or when boys come of age (whatever that means)

We have a huge procession of about 300 lorries in the summer a child with a disability or serious illness rides in each lorry, they raise a lot of money but it's very well publicised so I'd imagine you would know if it was happening unless you are new to the area.
