Calling someone a dick is rude in our house

ProfessorMoody · 24/11/2018 23:11

I didn't call anyone a dick, I said "don't be a dick" Smile

Feenie · 25/11/2018 01:11

Which is fucking rude. In anyone's book. Apart from yours, apparently.

fairislecable · 25/11/2018 04:13

My son also wanted guns when he was a child, I always refused as I wanted to discourage this interest.

Many years later he is now an army officer!

Monty27 · 25/11/2018 04:15

What or who does he want to shoot? Shock

ProfessorMoody · 25/11/2018 07:57

Oh Feenie, you're back! Having a go at me as usual on... Surprise surprose, a thread about children and guns. It was either that or computer games.

Nah, it's not rude in anyone's book. If someone's about to be a dick in my house, we say it all the time. It's not rude, we laugh over it. But that's not the point of this thread so don't get yourself too worked up about it - there's a whole wealth of posts about how toy guns are fine, so you'll need your posting energy for those Smile

ProfessorMoody · 25/11/2018 07:58

Surprise*
It's too early for you this morning Feenie. Can't type straight.

Feenie · 25/11/2018 11:31

I didn't go anywhere, I just avoid threads you're on, if I can. I have no problem re kids and guns, and have never posted about it. I do have a problem with obnoxiousness and rudeness though and will call it when I see it. That's usually when we cross paths, since you are adept at both qualities on a pretty much daily basis. You were staggeringly rude, I'm entitled to voice that opinion, which is not an unpopular one on this thread, so you'll have to just wear that and get the fuck over it, I'm afraid.

The conversations with MNHQ are very much the other way around, and are, of course, not ablist like your post, so it's easy to see that you're talking bollocks.

What a hypocrite - I've just seen you call someone out for using exactly the same terminology on another thread.
