To not like the sleeping arrangements at ds's dads??

Ds14 stays with his dad every weekend in a one bedroom flat. Ds either has the bed or the sofa.

This weekend his dads gf was meant to be staying over too, so them in the bedroom and ds on the sofa. Ds didn't go in the end

I'm really uncomfortable with this arrangement, am I unreasonable??

No not at all. 3 long years my dc slept on their dad's sofa. Dd recently started to refuse to go which prompted him to get a two bedroom flat. I just think he didn't get it.

Depends dosnt it I guess. Is it a sofa bed or a sofa?
Lots of children don't have their own rooms but share. If it's a proper sofa bed then that's okay but if not then he really needs to get a sofa bed.

At 14 how much longer is he going to want to go every weekend? Is contact going to be more arranged between them as and when suits DS?

If he only has a one bedroom flat there isn't an option really. I think it's ok if it's a proper sofa bed rather than a sofa.

What are you uncomfortable about, ds sleeping on the sofa or gf staying as you say he sometimes has the bed sometimes the sofa. I'm sure it isnt going to harm him sleeping occasionally on a sofa. In a one bed flat there isnt a lot of choice.
