To be fed up of coming home from the shops covered in glitter?

Everything in clothes shops seems to be covered in the stuff.

I tried a dress on and was all glittery afterwards, when I put it back on the rail there was actually a coating of glitter on the floor underneath.

Then I was looking for a secret santa gift and saw a make up bag. Picked it up-instantly covered in glitter.

The manufacturers need better glue. Or less glitter.

It irritates me too. It seems to be shortha d for magical and sparkly when it’s actually highly polluting and pointless.

Sparklingbrook · 22/11/2018 16:14

Yeah, magical it isn't.

Glitter is the devils dandruff.

It's always a joy to remove from the sofa and carpets too. One of my daughter's friends came over recently wearing a glittery jumpsuit and I was hoovering the stuff up for days and days afterwards!

It's not just annoying it's dangerous, I cut my hand open on a glittery jumper in Primark. It had big, hard and clearly sharp pieces of glitter glued to the shoulders. It wasn't a little paper cut either, but quite a big slice on the side of my thumb Shock.

Sparklingbrook · 22/11/2018 18:08

Glitter is both unnecessary and dangerous. Shock Did you sue Primark?

I used to work at a summer camp where the head art counsellor used to call glitter ‘the herpes of the craft basket’ because it spreads like wildfire and is impossible to get rid of.
