STORAGE HEATERS! Now it's back to the cold weather I'm struggling to keep the house warm. Somebody must have some tips on getting full benefit of these things. They are so expensive and basically crap. It's warm when we wake up. Freezing by tea time. Please someone help me suss these out. I hate being cold. 2 young children too.

Oil filled radiator are your friend. That's how I got through winters in my flat that had crappy storage heaters

Oh goodness remember these from childhood. Dad lost his rag took them all out and opened up fireplaces. Probably highly dangerous but at least we where warm
