Ok, may well get shot down for this. And no, I definitely don't want to start yet another infamous MN v Instamum thread. I just feel irritated and where better to rant and procrastinate...
I won't name names, but a fairly well known celeb Mum posted an ad with Bubble the babysitting app, and got some backlash from people about doing lots of paid partnerships (and people who don't like the concept of the app) - and responded via stories today.
And herein is the crux of whats really annoying (and yes, I have unfollowed, before you ask) is her response is "Me and hubby work really hard to make money to provide for our baby" and "I use this platform to work hard and feed & clothe my baby" - well we're all doing that firstly (mostly without profiting of our children, I assume in the vast majority) and secondly even still that doesn't make you above being criticized or people not liking the content you're being paid to create!
It just grates on me. I know I'm BU! (Probably)
