Marks and Spencer's window display. The 'must have' for men is "outfits to impress" , for women it's "fancy little knickers", Men must dress powerfully and impress in their suits, women must look sexy in their "little knickers".

Are M & S being unreasonable? I think so.

When pervasive, everyday sexism is dismissed as trivial, not worth getting worked up about, bandwaggoning, then we can be sure nothing will change.

If you can’t see why it is a problem, then it is you who has the problem, not those who are calling it out.

How can anyone think that this isn't reinforcing negative stereotypes and roles? I don't want to raise my daughter in a world where she's told her "must have" clothing is sexy underwear while her brother's is a suit.

I find the youger geneation's lack of interest in every day sexism quite dispiriting.

The reason it is in M&S window is it sells and no amount of whinj SJWs will make them change it.

M&S is a business and have no responsibility for social change.

no amount of whinj SJWs will make them change it.

No amount? That wouldn't be very good business.

At no point has M&S said women can’t buy ‘outfits to impress’ too. It’s one window display.

You're right. I'm sure their window display of power dressing outfits for women and "fancy little pants" for men will be going up any day now...
