To throw cat poo over my neighbour's fence?

Sixofone · 20/06/2007 22:17

I suspect I probably am but have had a few glasses of wine so here goes!

My neighbour's cat turds all over my garden and it's really pissing me off, especially as dd crawls around out there and will eat anything. So, DH stalks the cat, surmises that, because it spends an inordinate amount of time statistically on one particular neighbour's flat roof, it must belong to them.

So, I tipped a whole bucket of saved up cat poo (I mean, what else can you do with it - it surely isn't nice to put it in the black bin with your food waste?) over the fence, so it is now sat there in a rather suspicious looking mound. Some of the turds have gone mouldy. I expect my neighbours will see it in the morning. I have now had to throw the bucket away. Do you think they'll think it's me, or just a rather large cat? AIBU for being a cat poo thrower?

You don't put your own poos in the bin though do you for reasons of hygiene so you shouldn't put any poo in should you?

Can I just say how much I love your use of 'turd' as a verb? Am roffling to myself.

But yes, you are unreasonable to use cat poo. Use your own.

kiskidee · 20/06/2007 22:33

sorry the rest of the gang but, i would hope i had the balls to do what sixofene did.

cats should be indoor pets and have litter trays.

cat owners are bloody lazy and are only pleased for cats to go shit elsewhere.

they are a menace to birds and a host of protected species in this country.

AlistairSim · 20/06/2007 22:34

Mix it up with some water and mold it into a life-size model of said cat.

Stick pins in bottom area in voodoo fashion.

Obviously.

my cat spends an inordinate amount of time on my neighbours garden shed - not a good indicator of ownership IMHO

Sixofone · 20/06/2007 22:35

Ah - so you're in one of them there posh areas that has green bins. Lucky

Ok, I am going to send DH out there now to stand on a ladder with a rake, and to like smooth it out a bit so that it's not in a heap. Perhaps they will mistake the blue mouldy turds for rather large slug pellets? [hmm}

That way I will have had the satisfaction of being a poo chucker (and it WAS satisfying ) without the comeback.

Sorry, just joined this thread - but the title intrigued me so much, and my god DID I LOL OR WHAT!!!

So funny sixophone. And sorry to all those cat lovers out there, but please explain why cats always poo, wee and scratch open bin bags in OTHER PEOPLE's gardens?

Am still smiling now.......

SomethingIncrediblyWitty · 20/06/2007 22:40

I definately go with the poo throwing crew. although not my own (eeeeww!). I think it's disgusting to expect that other people should clean up after your pet, especially when you have kids who want to use your garden. And it's not like parks etc are free from excrement (sorry, turds) either is it?
You might want to check a bit more thoroughly for ownership tho. A comparison between cat and neighbours hair should do it - it works in cartoons anyway

Toothyboy · 20/06/2007 22:40

Whilst I wouldn't go to the lengths that sixofone has, it really pisses me off that everytime the ds's want to play in the garden I have to go on a cat turd hunt first. And it stinks when it's a sunny day

SomethingIncrediblyWitty · 20/06/2007 22:41

Sixofone - and empty a LOTof disinfectant over it to disguisethe smell?

it ain't funny to have your toddler pick up cat shit either.

youpeskykids · 20/06/2007 22:42

sorry harman, that's just amused me even more

SomethingIncrediblyWitty · 20/06/2007 22:42

Personnally i can't get a cat. Landlords orders. Besides, don't want to have to clean the litter tray.

paulaplumpbottom · 20/06/2007 22:43

You better hope its their cat

youpeskykids · 20/06/2007 22:43

It is SO liberating to know that I am not the only cat hater in the world........

Sixofone · 20/06/2007 22:43

So if I get a cat won't that just compound the problem? I.e. more cats = more poo?

OP posts:
Sixofone · 20/06/2007 22:44

Oh no, it won't will it, because my cat would just turd all over someone else's garden!!
