Together 20 years, married half that, got in an argument and he called me a fat b**ch. I'm a size 12. I'm normally loud, outgoing but he's crushed my confidence. Says he doesn't mean it but he said it. He says lots of things and thinks it's ok to say sorry after but once he says sorry that's it I should be over it. I'm not, I won't be.
I know I could LTB or put a pillow over his head and smother him but dead won't teach him a lesson. How do I make him see I'm hurting. He thinks he can say what he likes as long as he says sorry afterwards, I disagree.

But unfortunately a lot of men are pricks and when they are wrong they turn to abusive words purely because they have nothing els to say.
I would show how upset and disgusted you are with him and maybe distance yourself from him for a while to show your not just going to just let it go.
