“Posting for traffic”

You see this more and more here. OP opens with “posting for traffic”. I mean, what else would you be posting for? And does this even mean? Are we all cars and buses now?

It means that the thread is more suitable for chat etc, but they need enough quick answers, so are posting in AIBU.

This has come about because there's always a few posters telling the OP that the thread isn't an AIBU.

Yes but. Often it’s then followed by an Aibu-type question anyway.

What I asking is, isn’t everyone posting for traffic? That’s the point of posting, right?
