I have an infected tooth extraction socket. The thought of anything vaguely solid makes me terrified.

However, I am also now on that evil, evil metronidazole and feel sick to my stomach.

My stomach wants toast. My mouth wants ice cream.

Wails quietly...

RitaSueandFatFuckingMavis · 18/11/2018 19:39

Chicken soup?

Xuli · 18/11/2018 19:43

Oh @Xuli I was there last year, I get it!
All wisdom teeth out under GA which ended in infection. Ugh!!
I lived on mashed potato, porridge and soup 😀

Jezzifishie · 18/11/2018 19:57

I've just had peanut butter porridge, which hit the spot. Hope you feel better soon!

Unicornandbows · 18/11/2018 19:57

Guylains chocolate

Xuli · 18/11/2018 20:01

You need egg-in-a-cup. That will help you feel better.

Hope you perk up soon!

Xuli · 18/11/2018 20:06

Ooh, egg in a cup?

OP posts:
bourbonbiccy · 18/11/2018 20:10

A chuckie egg would help you ( basically soft boiled egg in a cup with a bit of butter and mushed up) mmmm I am fine, but I want one now lol

Xuli · 18/11/2018 20:11

OK, I'm boiling an egg now!

OP posts:
AdaColeman · 18/11/2018 20:12

Soft boiled egg (or two) scooped into a cup and chopped up, eaten with thin bread and butter.
Did you not have that when you were a poorly child? It's got well known medicinal qualities. Smile

Eat on the other side to your socket though mind.

IHaveBrilloHair · 18/11/2018 20:13

Chicken congee.
It's a rice porridge and amazingly comforting.

Xuli · 18/11/2018 20:14

Nope, never had it but it sounds amazing and the egg is going in the pan now, to follow a chicken cuppasoup

I knew MN would have the answer Grin
