DD had the pox a few weeks ago- she’s still got scabs etc. They stated around the 29th Oct & took a week to come our fully. She’s totally fine apart from one spot that is red & has a bit of pus in it.
It’s not got worse as in there are no red streaks - but it’s red & has yellow pus - it’s not that big either.

Aibu to take her to the docs about it? Can they get a bit infected? She’s got no other symptoms of being unwell - should I worry?

yes that can and yes it can be a localised infection and could need antibiotic cream

I think I am worrying as know a kid that got a blood infection from the pox. How long do they take to go away? Seems to be taking ages and ages
