I've just been offered an apprenticeship to better my career prospects, I haven't yet started as I'm waiting back for details.
However I'm 7 weeks pregnant and the position I'd originally applied for was maternity cover - the irony is brilliant.
Would I be unreasonable to still take this job despite needing maternity leave around July time next year?
I'd try to continue my studies so I wouldn't get behind and my plans currently are to work up until the birth and then take 3 months maternity - the job provides childcare so I wouldn't have to worry about this.
