He looks bigger than a weevil. But hes definitely not a cockroach. He looks like hes come in from the garden. I thought he was a shieldbug but his legs are too long

Looks like a conifer seed bug, how big is it?

Looks like a weevil, do you have pot plants?

He won't hurt you, just put him outside, gently. They like to eat roots of plants.

Apparently it’s a Western Conifer Seed Bug. ( well done pickles!)
Prob about 3 cm in length.
He’s in the garden now and logged onto a database too!
Still a bit ewww about going to sleep though!!
