I’m looking at you BBC news online!
I find this so annoying and lazy on the part of journalists.
The BBC website in general seems to be getting more and more dumbed down with celeb non stories.
Don’t get me wrong I’m as partial to a bit of fluff reading as the next woman but that’s not what I go to the beeb news for!
There not much between it and buzzfeed now - just waiting for the lol and wtf categories.
Anyone else noticed this? Am I just getting old? Grin

NO! I have been thinking exactly the same, I don't read the BBC news to see what Sandra from Sheffield tweeted I read the sun for that

Agreed. It’s just nonsense filler. They do it on the 24 hour news channel too. The poor newsreader will be sitting there reading tweets by gammonman32 or whatever rando has been posting their hot takes online. I think a lot of news outlets are too interested in showing opinions rather than facts.
