Advice needed please!

Posting here for traffic!

I applied for a job I'm over qualified for last week, but no relevant experience for this particular role (it was experience desired, not essential), although the person spec fit me to a T.
The job would have been perfect to fit around school, husband's work and other commitments. And I am absolutely miserable in my current job.
Posted here for traffic as wasn't getting a response on the work boards.

The application deadline was originally Monday (12th), I have since seen that they have extended the deadline until the 20th.
Do you think I'm out of the running for it?

it may be that they haven't received many applications and want to interview a few candidates so are giving it some more time/re advertising. I wouldn't give up just yet.

If you haven't heard back by say the 25 then I would forget about it.
