To be so fed up with our families?

There is so much I could write, but long story short, I'm really fed up, my 'home life' is perfect beautiful DD and great DH.... but neither of our families bother with DD or us (other than DH sister who lives 200 miles away! She adores DD) I'm at the point where I just want to tell everyone to piss of !! The only time I see my DM is when I'm running her round! My DSis never comes to see us but she constantly sees her DP sis family ... I'm so sick of making all the effort, when I was thinking about having kids I never thought all my DC would have would be me and DH! She has 4 living grandparents and see's 1 of them, I know my family love us but they just don't make any effort, anyone else in the same situation ??

It's horrible, OP, but you can't force a relationship with people who are not bothered. Both sets of grandparents are the same and my husband's one sibling can only be bothered with us if we are standing right in front of him. Just concentrate on the relationships where you do feel valued and on making your little family as strong as it can be.
