I'm organising a wedding abroad next year my budget is around 10k for the full day and party back home
My issue is I've always dreamt of a beach wedding in the sun and I have found a stunning one which is absolutely gorgeous, for the ceremony, cars, dinner photographer drinks and entertainment it will cost me around 4K which is well within my budget .
The issue is though as it's a public beach we will not be able to have the ceremony until 6.30 pm to ensure privacy and we have the reception room until 4am
The other option is a hotel with a man made Beach which isn't as Nice but still lovely . They will allow me to rent this for the day and I can start at whatever time I want however it will cost me 7k for the same package
This is still within my budget but I'm only having 20 guests at my wedding which just seems like a lot of money for a small number and for the sake of 4 hours on the other hand they are making the effort to come all this way
Would you be happy as a guest in this situation? Have you ever been to a wedding that started at this time and is 7k expensive?
I was thinking of arranging drinks for them in a bar before they get picked up for an hour that way they could start earlier does this sound like a good idea ? Anyone who is attending is family so we all know each other and will be having dinners/ activities througout the week as well
