Civil Service HEO application - please help!

Currently working in the Civil Service as an EO (executive officer). I saw a vacancy for an HEO post that looked really interesting, and have prepared answers to the competency questions requested.

I’ve focussed on making my answers based around my actions and the result of my actions (using the Situation-Task-Answer-Result structure).

However, I’m worried that my answers aren’t substantial enough, particularly as it’s been a tricky balance between providing a suitable level of detail in each answer and keeping each answer within the 250-word word limit.

This is so cheeky of me, but would anybody be able to take a quick look over my answers, please?

I just filled in one of these ... I'm not from the civil service so was somewhat blind to the competencies (other than the reams of documents online which weren't too helpful unless you want to spend a week reading them and understanding jargon!)I ended up averaging around 180 words per answer. Are we applying for same job ;)
