Every night when I get in bed,as soon as I shut my eyes I begin to twitch.
My arm then my leg then my arm etc etc
It goes on until I fall asleep
What on earth could it be?

Hypnic jerk. It would have been quicker for you to google it than wrote an AIBU post. Completely normal. Nothing to worry about.

ameliarre · 14/11/2018 19:42

I didn't think it was that as it's not just once it's 30-40 tines all over my body and I'm not falling asleep ..I literally just shut my eyes.
Sometimes it happens when I'm just relaxing watching tv.

I get this sometimes when I'm stressed. Are you more stressed than normal?

ameliarre · 14/11/2018 19:50

Yeah I am stressed out ..quite badly if I'm honest.

I'm not a medical professional at all so medically I can't advise you however I have had this and the doctor says to me it's stress and to be fair, it does go when I'm less stressed.

If you're really worried then go and see your GP.
