It's for a full head brown colour with ombré £80 without blow dry or cut.
Isn't this expensive ?

This is a weird thread. You don't have to go to that hairdresser, find a cheaper one.

ButDoYouAvocado · 14/11/2018 18:20

Depends where you are. London? No. South Lanarkshire? Yes.

Mummyoftwo91 · 14/11/2018 18:21

Pretty normal for my area, I'm in the south east

TheWiseWomansFear · 14/11/2018 18:21

Not really, mine for similar was £153 in London. In Leeds a similar thug was £110. In Lancaster with a discount it was £88.

pelli44 · 14/11/2018 18:22

I'm in Middlesbrough

Not really a strange thread,I'm just curious how much these things cost ..haven't been for so many years.

I pay about £110 for balayage and a cut and blow dry with my student discount so full price would be 140ish. Seems about average for around here. I could go somewhere cheaper but I've had some big colour errors so stay somewhere I trust.

TheOxymoron · 14/11/2018 18:26

People have different skills and use different products. Mostly you get what you pay for.

Jubba · 14/11/2018 18:26

I live down south. Mine is £128

Shirleyphallus · 14/11/2018 18:27

Cheap enough that I’d rather pay more than risk what a colour of that price would do to my straw bale of a bonce

blackchina · 14/11/2018 18:28

Ummm, not really a lot for a colour, but, and blow dry. Sounds about normal.

blackchina · 14/11/2018 18:29

I mean colour, CUT, and blow dry!

IncyWincyGrownUp · 14/11/2018 18:33

I paid just shy if £130 for what I’m assured is a balayage (brown to pink) with a cut and blow dry.

My pink toner top up costs me £20.

I live in a poverty stricken city, but choose a decent salon so I get decent results.

starzig · 14/11/2018 18:43

Middling.

DishranawaywiththeSpoon · 14/11/2018 18:50

I'm in Wales and that's about what you would pay, you could go to a top salon and pay more but struggle to pay much less than that.

Normally about 120ish with cut and blowdry round here.

Geillis · 14/11/2018 18:53

@peachypetite that's a weird comment to make.

Notquiteagandt · 14/11/2018 18:59

Just for colour that sounds about right up here. Theyd blow dry it though so wouldnt be leaving with wet hair. Im up north for context.

beeefcake · 14/11/2018 19:01

I'd say it's relatively cheap for all of that

Lauren83 · 14/11/2018 19:09

I paid £120 for balayage and cut, Northwest

Namechangeforthiscancershit · 14/11/2018 19:10

Very cheap for Oxford, but I don’t know how much help that is to you!

PickAChew · 14/11/2018 19:14

Even in boro, it would depend on the salon. Fairly normal, if not inexpensive for high street chain (though they're disappearing up here as fast as the department stores). Pretty steep for Shaz's Cutz above the local One Stop types of salon.
