A few of you may remember my thread from the middle of the night on Saturday. My dp slipped on a wet mat and ended up with a broken leg and dislocated ankle.
Whilst I was waiting for the ankle to be reset and temp cast to be put on, I started a thread just needing some company and you guys were awesome. I even managed a little giggle and DP was touched by all the well wishers.
I have seen loads of threads started recently saying this place can be unsupportive, so I thought I would counter that and just say thank you all for your support that night. It was great to have a place I could turn to to take my mind off of what was going on.
For those who are interested, dp finally had surgery today and will probably be in until Friday, he is quite uncomfortable but doing well and is still managing to have a bit of a giggle with the other patients on the ward.
