I’m a single mom of 2 tiny kids. Had been seeing someone (I knew for a long time prior to this) for 8ish months and thought he might be the one, but for several reasons have had to call it a day. I’m devastated. Just need someone to tell me it’s going to be ok.

Well done for calling it a day when you knew something wasn't right. Do you have anyone in rl you can talk to?

Maccapacca88 · 12/11/2018 16:23

Don’t really have anyone in rl other than my mom. My life revolves around work, studying and kids. I think I had pinned a lot on this relationship going somewhere, but a lack of time coupled with a few red flags led me to call it quits. Can’t say what the red flags were as potentially outing. I’m just really scared of being alone again.

But better to be alone ( for now ) than with someone causing you to be wary. You're worth more than settling with anyone red flags and all rather than be alone.

JacquesHammer · 12/11/2018 19:11

Don’t be scared to be alone, work towards being happy with being alone, so if you then choose to be with someone it isn’t as the alternative to a negative.

Hope you’re ok Flowers

Thank you for your replies. Logically I know what I’m doing is for the best. Doesn’t stop it hurting though. My heart just needs to catch up with my head!

You got this Flowers Do something nice for yourself, and be proud that you are such a strong person to have made the right call here. Have a cry tonight, get it out of your system and wake up tomorrow with a fresh start. You will find and deserve better. Take care x

Well done for trusting your instincts! Keep on doing that and it will certainly all be ok.
