My hands always get badly chapped in the winter/colder weather. I used to use Avon's silicone glove hand cream and that helped but they don't sell it now.
I have a tub of silicone primer that I can't use on my face so I've been using it on my hands for about two weeks and no soreness on sight. It's brill and the tub was under a fiver.
