To ask the best way to watch children’s films?

We’ve started a ‘Family Film Night Sunday’ with our DC (3 and 5). We have Amazon Prime and Netflix, but (unless I’m being daft) there aren’t a huge amount of decent children’s films included.
We’re happy to rent them (and pay around £3/4) but it seems that I can’t rent the Disney classics, I can only buy them for £9.99.

We don’t have a DVD player.

Is there another streaming service that people use where they can just rent the popular children’s films? Or does everyone just buy them?

Thanks!!

There's lots on sky. It has a children's section and a Disney section, including a lot of the older films. You can get a monthly subscription to Now TV movies, which is the same as sky cinema and costs less than getting sky.

If it's specifically Disney you're after then Disney do their own Netflix type service for £5 a month on Disney live. You need an app to watch it on the tv (which you can get on amazon fire stick, not on the Xbox though). Or you can just hook a laptop up to the tv.

Disney life not Disney live!

Netflix has a few - secret life of pets, Shrek, definitely more but can be a bit tricky to find them all. They don’t have any Disney ones as Disney is exclusive to now tv (as a bolt on through sky movies) and Disney life I think

Google play rent or buy,
Crunchyroll Subs service.
If your prepared to to put a bit of effort into finding searching out m3u playlists there are globally streamed kids channels and movies I can't really recommend an app because there are so many of them app store or play store search and choose what you like the look of
Now TV.
YouTube and
YouTube premium
Apple TV and the app store.

I’ve just got Now TV and it seems to have a good few children’s movies.

definitely Disneylife!
Its only about £4.99 a month and you can watch the majority of the Disney films/programmes and even watch all the Disney channels!

Also Disney life!

It has all the movies plus a massive selection of Disney TV shows, from Disney junior up to teenage drama stuff.

Also has family films that you forget are Disney, eg sister act.

One subscription can be used across multiple devices and have multiple profiles set up, so I share mine with my parents and my sister. I have it on my phone (and cast that to the TV wirelessly) and on an iPad.

You can also download any of the film's or shows to your device and save them within the app to watch offline. Absolute life saver on long car or plane journeys!

They are currently moving all the Halloween specials aside for Christmas movies. Love it!

DVD players aren't expensive. We found it well worth buying Disney classics on DVD, they are watched again and again.
