Working on reception at a hotel, there's a wedding going on and so far two men have walked past me saying ' see ya later darlin for a fuck I'm having you tonight ' ran of sniggering then came back with his friends wolf whistled and let out a huge fart by reception desk! What should I say to them? I'm such a shy awkward person

Next time say “if you say another word to me I’m Getting you ejected from the hotel” you probably can’t, but don’t just take it. Disgusting pigs

PurpleDaisies · 10/11/2018 19:26

Do you think they’re saying that to you as a dare? It seems odd for two to say exactly the same thing.

What’s your hotel policy on guests harassing staff?

VioletCharlotte · 10/11/2018 19:26

Ugh! I hate this sort of thing. How rude and disrespectful, no one should have to out up with that at work. I assume they're pissed? I wouldn't say anything to them, but let your manager know. They should speak to these men and let them know that this behaviour won't be tolerated.

QueenNovo · 10/11/2018 19:27

Is there security or a manager you can get to deal with them? You shouldn't have to put up with being verbally abused by a pair of arseholes.

YouTheCat · 10/11/2018 19:28

If there is security there, tell them you suspect these idiots of carrying drugs. Get them frisked.

Teenagerwoes · 10/11/2018 19:29

Definitely tell your manager.
Can you get someone to sit at reception with you? Creeps!

Underpressureidiot · 10/11/2018 19:31

You need to tell the manager, who needs to tell the bride and groom their guests are sexually harassing staff. Completely unacceptable.

Jaguarana · 10/11/2018 19:33

Sounds like a very classy wedding Hmm

Ask another member of staff to stay with you on reception.
