DS is almost 2. His dad and I split before he was born. He has him once a week since he was 10 months for between 4-9 hours. He says he wants to start having DS overnight but he's never done it before and I've never spent a night without DS.

I'm so unsure!!! He's mentioned it a couple of times but I've always put it off and he's never pushed it. There's a few little niggly things re ex that are stopping me but don't know if I'm BU or not!

Help!

@AmIRightOrAMeringue that's good advice thank you.

He has put him to bed before, he's looked after him in my home a few times whilst I've gone out for various reasons. The last time was when I went to my works Christmas do last year, he looked after him (at home) from approx 5pm-12:30am. He's just never been solely responsible for him without me overnight and into the next morning.

When we talk about the upcoming event if he mentions it again I will talk to him about it and leaning more towards agreeing now.

It's gotta happen sometime, and as PP have said its best to do it at a time when I'm already occupied - sitting there alone thinking about it would kill me!!!
