I am sitting in a training session (on a break) It’s not a boring subject. Many people here I don’t know and have never met, not much interaction yet. Lady on my table has a water bottle with one of those infusers in it.

In the infuser is what looks like granola. I cannot stop staring at this trying to work out what it is. Why would you have granola in your bottle? Or is it something else? WHY? If it is granola, what does this taste like?

Don’t feel confident enough to ask her. Also it is embarrassing that I cannot seem to just move on from the possible granola water, focus on the session or stare at something else. IABU I am certain and quite a sad case

I would ask and say something like "that bottle looks really good, where did you get it and what's in it"

She'll be THRILLED to tell you about her fancy water bottle.

Ask and get it over with - you'll feel much better (and possibly also make a friend)
