So the government has launched a consultation on how they ought to go about giving compensation to those affected by the Windrush scandal. I realise most people here would have no clue what it is like to live in the UK without correct residency papers but for those with some level of understanding follow the link below. It's a bit long winded but worthwhile particularly given the amount of time you are forced to wait for documentation in the UK, not just Windrush affected victims but all migrants.
