To have the loft window blind up?

Our bathroom is on the third floor on a roof so at an angle. No one can look in.

I love looking at the sky in the bath.

Dh says ‘the image could end up on google earth or a drone, close the blind’

Who is being unreasonable?

He sounds like a weirdo ignore him

Underpressureidiot · 06/11/2018 16:21

The angle of the window makes it quite hard to see in anyway so I wouldn’t worry, he sounds a bit paranoid...

treaclesoda · 06/11/2018 16:21

My bathroom is the same. I love it.

Eliza9917 · 06/11/2018 16:26

Put that one way/mirrored film on the window. Then you all win.

TravelBlues · 06/11/2018 21:28

Eliza, I’ve not heard of it. Does it block the light?

I don't think so. You can get frosting as well.

UrsulaPandress · 06/11/2018 21:33

You’ll be fine. Your dh is paranoid.

YellowBucket · 06/11/2018 21:38

I have a skylight above my bed that I love for similar reasons. Hadn’t considered drones or google earth watching me until now!

We once had a nosey bird though - am still gutted that I didn’t grab a camera in time!

ApolloandDaphne · 06/11/2018 21:38

Very weird thinking from your DH. I have two bathrooms, both have a bath and a velux window with no blinds. No-one has ever suggested we needed blinds in them in case of drones or google earth. The very notion has made me laugh.

Ohyesiam · 06/11/2018 21:40

He’s over thinking things.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 06/11/2018 21:41

Watching the sky while in the bath is one of life's simple pleasures

Disfordarkchocolate · 06/11/2018 21:43

I wish I could do that, I would find it very relaxing.
