I went to my weekly weigh in at a well known weight loss class tonight and got my 50lb loss certificate so that put a smile on my face. Then I got a text from the Blood and Transplant service about the blood I donated last week. I have 'special' blood that can be used for neonates and people who have very low immunity. The text let me know that my blood has been used at Bristol Royal Infirmary. Another smile on my face after a very crazy tiring day at work. Sometimes the small things can make your day.
