light hearted sort of

I have gone through life trying lots of different jobs, not sticking to anything and sometimes decide on a daily basis.

I've been a chef, a clown, a circus performer, a musician, a baker, a shop assistant, a farm worker, a teacher, an office worker, a child carer..........

I can't help but blame my childhood for this and one programme in particular. I may sue the tv company, whichever it was.
I hold this programme entirely responsible.

Did it involve going into a mysterious shop, and you always found something in your pocket afterwards to prove you'd done it??

kitnkaboodle · 05/11/2018 17:01

hah!

Yes, that's the one.
I think it has a lot to answer to, still light hearted, but think I have a point.

in your 50s OP??

RomanyRoots · 05/11/2018 17:16

Yes, how did you guess Grin

There was little choice and these ideas do get stuck in your head.
You can be anything you want to be on a daily basis in this world.

It's hard to escape too, even in my bloody 50's I'm haunted.
Now, two pieces of music from the programme are on the syllabus for grade 3/4 Clarinet. If my dh suggests these to one more student, I'll cry.
