I was sexually abused by our biological father from ages 4-7 my sister was from 1-4 was took to court way back early 80s
My mum was physically abused by my father and my step father and I still have flashbacks of it my step father also abused me from 11-17 took him to court last year
I would never be able to move on if I hadn’t forgiven my mum
