To have a whinge

I love fireworks at displays so please don't shoot me down as a killjoy but someone has been setting them off since 6pm, DP is working away and I've got a big dog cowering upstairs and crying at every bang and a 6 month old DD despite her white noise teddy crying and struggling to sleep 😭 Any tips or am I not going to sleep till New Year (when the fireworks will probably stop here!)

My 8 month old baby has just been woken up by a few rather loud fireworks!!! She’s so frightened. Her white noise app hasn’t masked the sound as much as I had hoped so I feel your pain OP
