To exchange gift

I’ve been given a lovely gift by my sister. Trouble is that I already have one but in a different colour/pattern. Would it be really ungrateful to exchange it? There’s loads of other items from the same place that I would LOVE!!! But I feel so rude. WIBU??

I'm sure she wouldn't mind. You already have one so exchange for something else you need.

I’m going to have to tell her aren’t I? I’d be a bit pissed off if I’d chosen a present and gone to the effort of posting it etc for the recipient to just exchange it.

But I really don’t need or have space for it. And there’s other stuff I’d much prefer. Sorry sis 😬😳
