This has just popped up on my timeline, and genuinely who would wear this? What is it and why? Have I missed a fashion trend?

I've given up. I am so far out of touch now I'll never get back in. Like I'd never get into that bodysuit

On closer inspection it's not a full body suit, the model just has the exact same skin tone

It looks bizarre in that picture but I could imagine young women in it with jeans or something as it’s just a body. Wouldn’t be for me though and that is a weird choice of picture to advertise it!

I really like it! Looks like a mesh/sheer high neck top with billowy sleeves and a body section. It's pretty. I'd wear with some white denim culottes, or flowy straight leg trousers

I own this! But I am a fat old mum, and I wear it under other sleeveless tops to hide my bingo wings!!

I like it! But my skin is dark so I wouldn't look naked I'd wear it with all sorts - jeans, a full midi skirt, wide leg trousers... I think the model's wearing it without anything on the bottom half to make it clear that it's a bodysuit, not a regular top.

Reminds me of Patsy in Ab Fab; she was wearing a body suit, drank too much Bolly, couldn't do up her body suit so the ends were flapping around outside her trousers!

I wear bodies most days for work with a high waisted pencil skirt or jeans. Looks much nicer than trying to tuck a top in and ending up with a faux muffin top

It’s rather appealing- do they have other colours do you know? Seriously where do buyers get their ideas from.

I think I'll leave garments like this to my daughter now, she does actually wear them. I'd have wet myself before getting the poppers undone.

Cherry, someone upthread linked to the same website as the OP's pic - they have them in red and mustard as well. Not sure I like the colours too much (but that's just my personal taste), but at least you can see what it's really supposed to look like!
