Anyone else's 2.5 year old obsessed with drinking milk (and only from a bottle)?!

Hi,
Really want to stop this as she wakes in the night wanting milk too. Any idea how? She won't drink milk from a cup only a bottle.

No advice but I'm in the same boat! My 2.3 DD still loves 3 bottles of milk a day. I've tried every cup known to man, which she'll happily use for everything, bar milk! I think I'm just going to set an age that I prepare her that we're not using bottles anymore because she's a big girl and brace myself for the fallout

Yes! 2.6 here and DD still insists on a bottle in the morning and at night. Like DollyTots, I’m giving her till 3, and then going cold turkey.

Yes , my ds is the same age and loves his milk!! Hes a poor eater and filling up on milk. He also woke up for his milk during the night.
I started reducing the amount of formula in his bottle. He started eating much better and wanting the milk less. And when he realised the milk bottle during the night wasnt as good he stopped waking up for it and sleeping through.
For us, he wasnt sleeping well and wanted his milk alot because he was hungry. Diluting and reducing the milk really solved both problems.

Yes, Ds was 3 and still having his milk, and it was affecting his appetite and his sleep. We stopped the night time milk aged 2 ish and he almost instantly began sleeping through, but He was still having one at bedtime.
Two weeks ago we went away for the weekend and the children stayed at granny’s. Well, would you believe it but silly mummy left all the milk and bottles there and no one could have any milk before bedtime - and he’s not even asked for it.

Yes, my dd was like this - loves a bottle (only for warm milk before sleep!) She is 2.5. We were a bit hard on her and I explained that because she has big girl's teeth now and she was chewing the teats they all had holes in them so they had to go in the bin. Also reinforced with 'you are a big girl, so let's go to the shop and buy some special big girl cups'
She cried the first couple of bedtimes and was a bit huffy but she has accepted warm milk from a sippy cup (probably now that she has realised that is her only option!)
She's been about a month without a bottle and she will sometimes ask for one but we haven't caved yet
She also now seems to prefer water in one of those cups with the built in straw for on her bedside table now, so she can have a drink during the night if she is thirsty.

My DS has only stopped his milk obsession recently, aged 4.. he was having several bottles before bed and several in night! Then one day we got a different brand and it put him right off.
My 20 month old went off it at the same time.

She's 2, and still has it first and last thing. Loves milk!
