To be struggling today

😣😣

I am trying to juggle a full on part time job and two pre school kids. DD2 is one and at that brainless stage where she just wanders about with no common sense. DD1 is four and usually pretty laid back but is currently going through a phase of being really really grumpy and prone to tantrums. I have no idea what’s going on there.

Trying to keep on top of my workload and I was up till after 1am last night working to meet tight deadlines. I have been doing this most nights recently. I will fall behind otherwise.

Today I am just so tired. So tired. The girls keep fighting. The house is a riot. It is peeing down outside and freezing cold.

I can’t do it today 😭

Flowers for you! Couldn't just leave you there! I can remember days like that. I also remember just sitting down in my bedroom corner and crying because I couldn't see a way of it ever getting better. But it did. My mum also had days like that, I found out later in life when we talked. And my friend. You are already doing amazing things each day but sometimes none of us can do it all, all of the time. Your part-time job doesn't sound very part time, though. Is there anyone else (friend, family neighbour) who could do the pumpkin or share theirs with your daughter? Otherwise let it go - she will get over it! Could anyone come and babysit so you get a handle on the work? A friend did my house for me once - I felt so ashamed but she really helped when it had overwhelmed me. Could you afford to pay for help/nursery/CM? I would help if my friend or neighbour asked me, but I am not a mindreader so would need to be asked or told about the situation. More Flowers.
