DrewBarryless Was it mona the vampire? Her and her friends would dress up and try to solve things, but it was all their imagination I think. One was a princess and the boy was something else. Something bug like?

DrewBarryless · 04/11/2018 18:38

Just did a bit of research...

The quality looks so bad! 😂

DrewBarryless · 04/11/2018 18:39

I think Mona the vampire is one I watched as well... love a good ghoul!

The first US style comedy I liked was Mork and Mindy. Then Different Strokes and Soap
All fab.
"Previously on Soap..." loved it it was so mad then it would hit you with something serious and knock the wind out your sails.

Also loved 'Playaway' Brian Cant was brilliant.

Starsky and Hutch, The Professionals, The Persuaders, The Champions, The Man from Uncle, The Protectors and Sapphire and Steel.
All great memories and several crushes

Fab thread! I was an awful telly addict and remember so many of these. I was also a wuss - The Singing Ringing Tree was scarey. Have we had Animal Magic and Vision On? Top faves were Jackanory and Thunderbirds - 'coz Lady Penelope.

Strokethefurrywall · 05/11/2018 17:48

Round the Twist

Mummadeeze · 05/11/2018 17:51

Weirdly I used to love The Two Ronnies and Dallas as a child. Also V. But I lived somewhere with limited TV so there wasn’t much choice!

PrivateParkin · 05/11/2018 22:33

Mummadeeze so did I, especially (from the Two Ronnies) The Phantom Raspberry Blower of Old London town and The Worm That Turned Grin

yesmelord · 05/11/2018 22:51

Tots tv and Rosie and Jim when I was small

The old Bernard's watch, the old the worst witch and my parents are aliens when I was a little bigger!

They don't make programmes like them anymore. Everything on CBeebies is very animated at the moment. So we watch old re runs of some of the things I used to like.... for her benefit of course, not mine BlushBlushBlush
