To say that square pillows are just stupid?

On holiday, thinking how much I admire the local way of living, would love to move here etc etc the usual. But put off by the square pillows?! There make no ergonomic sense at all do they? Just totally the wrong shape and stupid.

I end up with terrible neck pain with the rectangular ones. DH refuses to convert so we have two different types on our bed which I must say irritates me. 😂

I could see they might be useful as an additional option but I wouldn't have only those though.

I hate them. Hate it even more when I have to squash a square pillow into a rectangular case, or vice versa.

We live in France and have been forced to convert to squares because Ikea here only do square pillowcases! Yes I could shop elsewhere, but I like the big blue box. But I love sleeping on proper rectangular ones when I visit my mum!
