This is more of a rant than a AIBU.
I’m a nanny/nursery nurse and I provide babysitting services during evenings and weekends. I had a lady contact me last week asking if I could babysit her daughter next weekend.
We arranged to meet today (closer to her as I drive). It’s my day off and I arranged my whole day around her. Everything seemed fine, we even spoke this morning just to confirm times and what cafe we were meeting at. I drove over 30 mins to meet her, sat in the cafe looking like an ass waiting around, for her to just not show up. No message, nothing.
We’ve been communicating through Facebook so I sent her a message when I arrived just to say I was waiting, she’s read it and not replied. I’ve just sent another message saying I would of appreciated a text or call just to say she couldn’t come or changed her mind. I’m worried I’ll get an abusive message back now but felt I should say something to get my point across.
What a waste of my time and petrol.
What the hell is wrong with people? So rude! Grrrrr
