To ask if you have perfect teeth?

And by perfect I mean no fillings or pain, not how white or straight they are.

I know of a woman with two children in her forties with no fillings.

I was very proud of my teeth but got a surface filling at 29 when pregnant with my 3rd child (relevant because pregnancy can weaken your teeth), and at 31 i have been told that I have brushed my teeth so hard that I now have receding gums causing me daily pain (particularly on the tooth that had the surface filling), so the nerve is now almost showing and anything that touches it is sore.

I just guess I wanted to know if everyone else had great teeth and I was going to end up being the only woman my age with their teeth falling out or actually it's pretty standard for your teeth to go downhill when you are over 30?

I'm 44 with three DC and my teeth are in good shape - no fillings, although I did have to wear braces as a teen and had a wisdom tooth extracted in my 20s.

I’m 33 (no kids) and have never had fillings or anything (She says, frantically knocking on wood)

I didn’t go the the dentist at all for about seven years, so when I did go, I was expecting to need work doing but surprisingly I escaped with just a scrape and polish

I had braces as a child and I still have an overbite, but my teeth are pretty straight, as in not crooked or crowded in my jaw.

However I’ve been told I grind my teeth, so not sure how long I’ll be able to maintain my dental track record for

32 with slightly receding gums after second pregnancy. No pain or fillings but they are a bit crooked and yellow and I have fluorosis! So they feel fine but look a bit manky

Late thirties here - no fillings either and one DC. I wouldn't say my teeth are perfect as my front two ones they look a bit transparent to me - always have. But they are straight, no gum issues and whitish.

I have had my wisdom teeth taken out bottom two ( one at a time just with an injection) top two under sedation.

I do have quite big teeth though ---> this is me

I've never had any trouble with my teeth. I'm 50. It's genetic: I certainly don't look after them any better than other people do.

My grandfather had his first filling at the age of 70. You should have heard him moan. "No, you don't understand! The drill - it HURT. And it took forever." He got little sympathy from his younger relatives, who did in fact know all about what it is like to have dental work done!!!

I'm 40 now and my teeth are in terrible condition.

Until I was 37/38 I had no problems whatsoever, no fillings etc although had to have 2 wisdom teeth extracted due to overcrowding.

BeeMyBaby · 30/10/2018 05:36

@KhaleesiTheDeadWalker is there a medical reason that your teeth suddenly went downhill or just age?
