To be confused with gap sizing

Hi, I’m a UK 16-18 and small in height. Looking for tops and dresses. Can I ask what size I should be buying from gap? In store they said XL, but online it says L. So any women who are roughly my size, can you give me your thoughts.

I'm a 12-14 and I buy a large In their sports stuff and pjs.

I'm a 14 and only just squeeze into their biggest size of in-store jeans, which are a 32 waist. For tops, weirdly, I seem to fit in a medium.

Depends on shape, they assume you have no curves.

I’m a size 18, and can’t wear gap. I find them a tiny tiny fit

I know I’m not kidding myself as I’m a supermarket 16 and next/high street 18

I’ve got small boobs and a big tummy!

The hop: that’s odd, I’m a 20 in Tesco dresses, yet a 16 and 18 in next dresses! X
