Do it, you’ll never look back! You can make a glorious bolognese with lentils and mushrooms for about 78 pence, and what else is mince really good for anyway Wink

desperately tries to avoid thinking about the looming catastrophe that is Brexit

Well between the climate change news and this it’s starting to look like a no-brainer. I’ve even convinced my veg hating DH to start doing 2 meat free meals a week (baby steps)

CiderBrains · 25/10/2018 20:10

Do people eat meat everyday? 🤔

Blanchedupetitpois · 25/10/2018 20:13

You’d be amazed how many do! That’s why meat free Mondays is such a good idea, it helps people reduce their impact without actually giving up meat.

CiderBrains · 25/10/2018 20:20

I don't think I could afford to eat meat everyday. There's lots of lovely food out there you can make without meat! I'm not a vegetarian by the way.

AnneLovesGilbert · 25/10/2018 20:21

Do it. Being veggie is great Smile

MakeAHouseAHome · 25/10/2018 20:26

Blanchedupetitpois can I have your recipe!?

BiscuitDrama · 25/10/2018 20:37

We ear meat every day. DH won’t eat pulses which doesn’t help.

CiderBrains · 25/10/2018 20:37

I love fish so I couldn't be a vegetarian, even though I'm not fussed about meat.

phoebemac · 25/10/2018 22:20

I have been thinking about it for a while anyway as I do really like veggie food (not a fan of quorn or tofu though) and already have a few veggie days each week. so I think I could make the switch.
