I have an amazing little DD who is just the best thing ever.

Just after she was born we found through sad news that there might be a genetic problem in the family which is being tested for. Sometimes the worry about what this might mean for DD overwhelms me. We also have to make medical decisions for her about another matter and what's best for that may conflict with the other if she has it (but it's unlikely - I'm catastrophising but feel like until we know the results it's so hard to know what to do)

Is there anywhere I can email for support and advice on how to pull myself together and learn to stop stressing? I don't want DD to pick up on worry, and I also want to enjoy these wonderful early days. Failing that I know I might have to go and see someone

Hi OP, I strongly advise you to see your GP. There are plenty of sites avaliable about mental health, but without being diagnosed, you may not be getting the correct help. Hope you're ok
