AIBU?

AIBU to ask wowcher to honour an expired voucher?

I bought a wowcher spa day a while ago. Then we found out our son had a degenerative condition and we had to get through the summer holiday and then my mum died. I just remembered about the voucher but it's expired. Am I expecting too much for wowcher to extend my voucher so dh and I can have the spa day?

Ask them. Sorry for your loss and about your son x

They are good at doing that if you have a particularly unfortunate reason for being unable to use it. My mum was undergoing breast cancer surgery and treatment and they cancelled an expired voucher for Wowcher credits (meaning you can spend them on another deal when you are more able to go). I was impressed at the lack of drama with them.

It’s always worth asking. I was given an afternoon tea gift voucher /experience and it expired. I didn’t think to ask at the time as I was under a lot of stress with other things but I wish I had.

Never hurts to ask. I forgot about a Groupon once and customer service gave me a credit so I could choose something else on the site. Depends on the level of customer service at Wowcher.

Really sorry about your loss. It certainly sounds like you deserve some pampering.
