Sure if you like starving. Hmm

chillpizza · 24/10/2018 15:30

If you want to be even less malnurished than the meat/fish eaters sure. Just don’t be a bore about it though making out that other people are horrible for hunting/fishing.

chillpizza · 24/10/2018 15:32

That should be more malnurished than the others. Since they would be eating more and a wider variety than what a vegan/vegetarian could find in the jungle that’s safe to eat.

BiggFactHunt · 24/10/2018 15:34

Didn’t know you were on MN Pete still can’t believe you tied up the pig, what did you think would happen

ZeroFuchsGiven · 24/10/2018 15:34

I love the island but after that episode where the pig was dead and they didnt eat it I stopped watching. What a bunch of wet lettuce's they all were.

They would have hated me because there was no way I would have agreed to give that meal up.

Fatasfook · 24/10/2018 15:36

Vegetarianism and any diet choice is a luxury afforded by living in a plentiful and bountiful society. When it comes to survival you have to eat what you have to eat.

thenightsky · 24/10/2018 15:38

I didn't get how they could just let all that free meat drift out to sea! Something dodgy about that... perhaps they weren't quite as hungry as we were led to believe.

RagingWhoreBag · 24/10/2018 15:38

Ridiculous that the pig died and they still didn't eat it, even though they were all losing weight by the bucket load as they couldn't catch enough fish or find enough food to sustain themselves.

RagingWhoreBag · 24/10/2018 15:40

I think they all knew that if they ate the pig Pete would have flounced off and then they'd have felt bad, plus he was pretty central to island life so they would have missed him. I think if it had been earlier maybe it would have been harder in a way, but as they knew they were going home soon, they let it go to keep him on side.

ShartGoblin · 24/10/2018 15:40

I don't eat pork and 100% would have encouraged everyone else to eat that dead pig. I found the waste quite sickening, it died for nothing.

Jessiejuju · 24/10/2018 15:42

Exactly my point if I was on the island there is no way I would go hungry because they didn't want to upset people.

And all the Indians who can’t afford to eat meat...

ZeroFuchsGiven · 25/10/2018 13:45

@Tika77 whats that got to do with BGTI and vegetarianism?

Tika77 · 25/10/2018 19:37

Fatasfook... that was a reply to an earlier post about vegetarianism being a luxury. Reply function doesn’t seem to work from my phone.
